IntelliSource is seeking an experienced IT Technician for our Non-profit Partner in Englewood!
IT Technician Job Duties:
  • Utilize the ticket system to manage, fix, and respond to IT problems end users face, under the direction of the IT Manager.
  • Helps end users resolve problems with PC hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals and communication devices.
  • Escalates problems to the correct party, when necessary.
  • Supports other members of the IT team as needed, which may involve helping with asset management, office moves, light systems administration and other duties as necessary.
  • Develop onboarding and training tools to help users utilize current systems.
  • Administer current and future systems including but not limited to: Office 365, Salesforce, GSuite, and Zoom.
  • Work closely with the IT Manager to manage and maintain the servers, including hardware and software updates, backups and daily functionality.
  • Escalates problems to the correct third party, when necessary.
  • Participate in the acquisition and disposition of all IT equipment in use at the NSC including software, workstations, servers, printers, fax machines, multi-function devices, scanners, copiers, and the PBX phone system.
  • Maintain, support, and enhance current IT systems from the back-end administrative side to the front-end user experience.
IT Technician Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze, construct, document, test, maintain, troubleshoot and support PC hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals and communication devices.
  • Requires excellent customer service skills. Requires good communications skills with the ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfully.
  • Ability to discern between important and urgent/unimportant, especially as it relates to the Helpdesk team’s values, policies, and processes.
  • Windows administration experience (Installing programs updating and troubleshooting systems, light networking modifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
  • 2 years experience with basic desktop support and administration
  • This role may be required to travel once a year
