IntelliSource is seeking a Systems Analyst I to assist our partner in Westminster. The Systems Analyst I is responsible for providing analysis, expertise and documentation in developing, implementing and supporting technical solutions.  Works with various systems to configure and provide solutions such as EDI & VMI and developing integrations.  Creates functional and technical design specifications and documentation based on business requirements. Collaborates locally and globally to ensure accuracy, quality and schedule adherence for projects and solutions.  Performs iterative unit and system testing including coordinating and overseeing user acceptance testing.
Job Responsibilities
  • Configures and customizes EDI and VMI solutions, integrating with SAP ERP and CRM.
  • Provides technical expertise, analyze needs and design business solutions
  • Ability to follow programming logic to understand the flow of a solution.
  • Troubleshoots to determine root cause and develops resolutions to fix issues.
    • Performs unit testing and end user demos while supporting integration and user acceptance tests.
    • Learns and leverages tools needed in Information Technology at local and global levels
  • Assists in the planning and execution of projects involving IT solutions.
  • Works with business resources to understand and document business requirements for application functionality, reports, customizations, interfaces, etc.
  • Analyzes complex problems to be addressed with automated system solutions using knowledge of best practices
  • Develops cost effective processes and procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Creates functional and technical design specifications based on business requirements provided by the end users and/or process organization.
  • Clearly communicates specifications and performs iterative testing to ensure accuracy and compatibility of solutions and master data.
  • Creates documentation for operational support of implemented solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain positive sustainable relationships of trust through proactive, open and interactive communication and follow-up.
  • Serve as backup for daily operations performed by other team members.
  • Remains current with industry trends and solutions.
  • Attend meetings as required and/or assigned.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Special Job Dimensions
  • Willing to be on call and occasionally work evenings, weekends or holidays, as needed or required.
  • May be required to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline, preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience working with solutions / software to integrate systems
  • 0-2 years of experience with EDI & VMI solutions preferred
  • 0-2 years of programming experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal / customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize Lean Six Sigma as a continuous improvement methodology to eliminate waste, improve accuracy and build quality into processes and solutions.
  • Knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) software, and Helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of solutions leveraging EDI and order processing
  • Ability to learn and understand SAP for integrations
